Mamiya Junior High School
Message from the principal
I have been the principal of Mamiya Junior High School on April 1st 2018.
Our school was established in 1947.This year we will celebrate its 75th anniversary of the school. Our school’s location lies in the rural area of Arakawa river, Fujimi and Kawagoe city.
Our town began in 1889, and was composed from 4 areas, of Nishi-Asuma, Tsuchiya, Iidashinden and Uetayahonmurashinden.The name Mamiya derives from Nishi-Asuma(horse) and Futatsumiya(shrine).
The beautiful views from Arakawa riverside, primrose called Nishikinohara was named by a famous journalist Soho Tokutomi. It’s a very good learning environment for adolescent students.
My aim is to cherish student’s personalities, abilities and nurture their creativities and confidence to live. Students will gain the skills to open up and prepare for their future.
I will teach them how important to take their lessons seriously. In my opinion it is very important that they will pay more attention on their studies, cherish every moments and be patient enough to focus on the things they want to achieve and not to put away things they can do today rather than doing it later. We will encourage them to work hard and extend more effort in everything that they do.
Furthermore, Saitama City encouraged and implemented students with the 3G systems.
These 3G systems at our school are as follows;
Finally, we really appreciate the outmost support of the local society. As we keep our school environment safe we will patiently teach students things they need to know in life. We, the teachers of Mamiya Junior High school strive for a good and quality education with good teamwork and dedication. As principal, I will commit myself to improve the relationship among schools, home and the society. We are also hoping students will try their best, work hard and strive hard for their better future. We as mentors will continually support and cooperates to prepare them for a brighter future.
Naohiro Yamada The 23rd principal of Mamiya Junior High School.
